1) concert;

You need a semicolon when you have two independent clauses; an independent clause can stand by itself as it is a complete sentence.
the rest of your answers are correctI need help with 10 english problems where to add semicolons?
Well, I'm not going to do your homework for you, but I'll be glad to help you learn about semicolons. A semicolon is used to separate two independent clauses that are closely related and therefore can be properly included in the same sentence. You've done #2, #3, #4, #7, #8, #9, and #10 correctly. Look carefully at these and use them as examples to help you figure out the others. Each independent clause could stand alone as a separate sentence; that's your clue as to where to put the semicolon.

We need more women into umpire youth sports?
I know there some but we don't have a lot. I was able to do the states this year first time umpiring babe ruth fast pitch softball. i was about to do 18u tournament and 12u tournament. I am going to see two e-mails from my two uic i work with.
Keith is the one i did baseball the most for
Ed is the one i did softball for.
"Chris,
I am so happy to hear that Ed used you in the States! That is a great experience and a big confidence booster! Don't worry about not being able to help me next year. I'm just happy that you are staying busy with Ed. He is a real good friend of mine and speaks very highly of you! I am doing 16U regionals this weekend in Plymouth. Should be fun. You have a great summer Chris and keep in touch!
Keith"
Dang i already delete the other one. but he told me He heard great things about me this year and he also said in all caps that i am a "GOOD UMPIRE" and i am top of his list next year.
the only thing i need to improve on his being louder.
So ladies and guys keep trying i want to seem more ladies out there. Keep your dreams going. you get great comments like this above. Its a great feeling, I know its not really a question i just wanted to share my thoughts and don't give up keep trying.
I was told the other year i couldn't make easy calls, or i didn't know strike zone etc... This is proven wrong big time.We need more women into umpire youth sports?
Respect. I want to umpire when I stop playing for sure. I've been catching for 8 years now so I have a pretty good idea of a reasonable strike zone and I know the ASA/NSA rules very well. Whenever we play, the female umpires are much better than the men (not to say all male umpires are bad, we have had some good ones). They have a more consistent, resonable strike zone and never make ridiculous calls. Thanks for doing what you do! Hoping to join you someday!

I'm looking for some obscure band recommendations...got any?
I have thousands of CDs/vinyls, but so you can get an idea of my taste in music (and so I don't get a long list of bands I already have), here are some of the artists that I have on my computer. Like I said, I have a lot of music so please try to be as obscure as possible with your suggestions. Thank you!

Are you ranting? Yeah your kid is going to get picked on and he has a hughe space to fill to live up to the potintial of his name, but do you love him? So what's the gruff? He's your child and your choice, at eightteen if he wants to change it he will if he thinks it defines him and fits him completely he won't but don't get so worked up over such a small thing as this. Use the energy that you spent on these names for something more usefull, like how the next time someone critisis the names your going to turn it to a complement, "Yes we know his name is unusual but isn't it pretty? We love the way it roles off of our tongue." GL!Why do people names their kids these names?
wow! you really put alot of time into this question! LOL
i personally like some of the names - and i'd just name your kid whatever you want - if they don't like it later in life they can either change it or pick a nickname they like better!
HOW THE HELL DID YOU MANAGED TO WRITE MORE THAN 1000 WORDS? I'VE BEEN TRYING TO DO THAT AND I CAN'T BECAUSE THE LIMIT IS 1000 WORDSWhy do people names their kids these names?
I have no problem with the names you chose, my son's middle name is Xane! I get alot of comments on his name, Angel Xane, but I don't care what people say, that is his name.
Please remember that your child will have to live with the
name you give him/her. Don't get too exotic or they'll be
creating their own nickname, and the one you spent so much
time choosing will be nothing more than an unused form
of identification on official documents. In other words,it doesn't hurt to be a little conventional in this area. It may spare them years of torment on the playground. Kids can be
cruel.
As for the celebrities you list, they don't even live on the same planet as the rest of us. They're all a little odd,I think. Why do people names their kids these names?
It must have taken you a very long time to type all those names. Some of them I liked a lot others I feel sorry for the child. Just like I feel sorry for your future children on the names you have chosen for them. Their father will have a say in the matter maybe he will have some better names for his children.
How would you like to go through life with a name no one could pronounce much less spell. I don't think you child will like it either. I think it will be hard for him to get a job since the boss wouldn't know how to pronounce his name.
because they r famous and like to be known for something out of the ordinary that causes attention
how much time did you spend researching these names
The names you pick only matter to you and your significant other! Also your looking at famos childrens names, as if their parents dont get enough attention, here is one other way! The crazier the name the more he/she is talked about! Just ,my opinion!! I think your names are unique, not quite my style but lovely none the less! The funny thing is to me how could somone name there child Henry, or William, Holly or Meghan! I guess it's just a prefrence, and everyone has an opinion!!
You could name your child whatever you want. As long as it makes you happy! Hope you have a girl!
i personally like tradional names, but each to their own. I beleive that when u chose a name for bubs u need to see if that name will suit them thru all phases of life e.g , at kindy? as a teenager? when getting married? as an older citizen
Their choice. Some are definitely strange, but Carys (Catherine Zeta Jones' kid) is a traditional Welsh name.
Fascinating list. Thanks for sharing.
There seems to be no real reason or meaning in connection with a number of the ones you've shared.
Teachers for this next generation will have spelling and pronouncing nightmares!
ANY MORE?
I CANT DECIDE
Because these people are all famous and most of them are on drugs.
Ha.
Also - Just want to point out - Some of these names are not all that odd...Francesca Eastwood for instance....FRANCESCA is a Spanish name and it is a very old name. (pronounced Fran CHESS ca!!) And some of them...while I agree the middle names are odd...the first names aren't. Most people only go by their first names. And in the case of Cashel Day-Lewis...Daniel Day-Lewis is from Scotland. Cashel is a common name there.
the same reason you freaking want to name your kid "whisper" and "xane".
odd names.
"My son is Xane Xzavier (it is spelled right)"- No, it's not spelled right. Zane Xavier is the proper spelling. You chose to spell it wrong. That's your prerogative.
Also, alot of those names that you listed are real names - they may not be common now, but they may have been when the babies were born. Granted, alot of them aren't "real" names, at least in my opinion.
A name doesn't make a child/person unique, their personality %26amp; interests do. I know people who have very common names who are truly uncommon. And vice versa.
I suppose for the same reason everybody has freedom of naming their children by whatever name they want...some are weird.. but it's best to give a child a middle name .. so if it really doesn't like the birth name.. it can go by his or her middle name which should be a bit more fitting in with names that people know how to pronounce and spell..
Good luck
You must have spent lots of time researching this. Maybe you can put that energy you spent typing up this whole thing doing something else? And if others don't like the names you've chosen, just tell them gently that it's your children and you like their names.
Some of these celebrity baby names aren't that weird. Francesca, Amber Rose, Hazel Patricia are certainly legitimate names. Even Tallulah is a legitimate name - It's Irish/Celtic. And I happen to love the name Zephyr (and I'm a classic namer).
People name their kids names like these for the very same reason you chose the unusual names you did for your kids!
I personally don't care what anyone says about my children's names...in fact I relish the fact that neither my Mother or my Mother in Law like the names which I have chosen...especially for my daughter. I want to give my children unique names...not like every one else's!
Seriously ridiculous names. I feel so sorry for these children, and any child with a "unique" name. I don't understand this trend of unique (read: absurd) names. It's true that one can name their child whatever they want (entitlement!!!), BUT it's the child who has to live with the consequences and believe me, there will be LOTS of them. There was a time when parents wanted the best for their child, not for themselves.
My son is Xane Xzavier (it is spelled right)
I'd like to name a daughter (if I ever have one) Whisper Briar

Where did the word GAFF originate?

Dear Nobody,
At home there's a tap in the bathroom that won't switch off properly. It needs a new valve, that's all, Mum says. Sometimes you don't hear it at all, and sometimes it keeps you awake all night, drip, drip, drip, regular and slow and insistent.
And that's how I feel about you.
It's like hearing my own heartbeat and not being able to switch it off.
It's like footsteps in the dark.
I don't know whether you're there at all.
But the thought that you might be there is like a drip, drip, drip that won't go away, day and night, day and night now, regular and slow and insistent, like a beating pulse that won't lie still, like a clock that never stops ticking.
Pregnant, pregnant, what if I'm pregnant?
Tick tock tick tock tick...
I'm so frightened at night that I can hardly breathe.
I can't tell anyone. I can't tell Ruthlyn. I can't tell Mum.
You're only a shadow. You're only a whisper.
You're a tap, dripping night and day.
But I've told Chris, at last, at last. Perhaps that will make you go away.
Leave me alone.
I don't want you.
Go away. Please, please, go away.

A gaff is a stick with a point and hook at one end of it. It is also a spar on a sail boat. And it is English slang for the place in which one lives.forza motorsport 3
