I have been a vegetarian for a year. During that time I have eaten meat once while in Bangkok. I was really sick and McDonalds was the only thing I could stomach for some bizarre reason.
My best friend who I have known for nearly a decade is moving to Brooklyn on Jan. 1. He has a $100 gift certificate for Ruth's Chris steakhouse. He wants me to go there with him and have a $50 fillet for our last meal together.
I'm conflicted as to whether I should go with him. On one hand I would like to celebrate the occasion with him but on the other hand I think I might feel guilty for eating meat.
I'm not even sure why I am vegetarian. I suppose it's for reasons of discipline.
What do you think I should do?Should I break my vegetariansim?
eat that meat you don't know what your missing. mmm a rib eye, some baby back ribs mmm...just go be his friend and enjoy dinner, live a little..or someone else will go.Should I break my vegetariansim?
well considering your not a TRUE veg head (since you ate mcdonalds)
i think you should just go and eat there
but if u really feel that guilty
ask him if you can get a salad or something that doesnt involve meat.
if he was really your friend then he would understand.Should I break my vegetariansim?
if your friend is really your friend and you care about his feelings, eat the steak, after all, it is his last day......he will spend 50$$$$!!!!!!!!!!
do him a favor and eat it.taht is if he is really your friend.Should I break my vegetariansim?
Do,what ever you want. You are a really nice nice person fare and trustworthy. You can not do any thing wrong I guess
