What are some REALLY good steakhouses in NYC?

I know Peter Luger's, Ruth's Chris and Wolfgang's, but I've never been to any of them (I'm a poor grad student). RIght now, though, I don't care about prices...cause I'm planning my buddy's bachelor party.



What are some other great steakhouses? What is your favorite and why?

Btw if you have any other ideas for a bachelor party, lemme know (right now, I plan on having dinner at a really awesome steakhouse, then maybe go to a whiskey+cigar bar, and then off to a strip club, naturally!)What are some REALLY good steakhouses in NYC?
I haven't been to the steak houses in NYC. However, one website that I always trust if I am going someplace new for a hotel or restaurant is www.tripadvisor.com.



According to that website - Keens Steakhouse is rated really highly and the #1 steakhouse and out of all the restaurants in NYC it is #15. I know you said price isn't that important - but another one that is a little bit cheaper is Beacon Restaurant %26amp; Bar.
