Has anyone been to Ruths Chris?

I am planning a surprise trip for my husband and I's anniversiary, and money is tight. How much would you suggest I set aside? I heard it's expensive, but to what extent.

Also, what did you eat and what would you recommend Thanks!Has anyone been to Ruths Chris?
Yikes... well... a lot will depend on whether you drink wine or not.

My husband and I went for lunch last week and this is what we got:

We each had a glass of Conundrum white wine

We shared the barbecued shrimp appetizer

I got a petite filet

He got a lunch sized rib-eye (which is 12 oz)

We shared garlic mashed potatoes and creamed spinach (the side orders there are all about enough for three people, so plan to share - everything is ala carte)

We each got a glass of red wine to have with the meal

We shared an apple tart for dessert

We each had a Ruth's coffee (which has liquors in it)

Our meal, with tax and tip, was about $250.

We would have saved about $100 all together if we'd skipped the alcoholic beverages.

Everything we got was just incredible! All delicious, perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. Service was incredible as well... they refold your napkin if you go to the restroom and have a crumb-scraper they use between courses - lolHas anyone been to Ruths Chris?
APPLEBEES
150. It is so so excellentHas anyone been to Ruths Chris?
It's delicious, but expensive, if it's your anniversary %26amp; you want to spend the money there, then go. It's at least $200 for a couple. If I remember correctly everything is alla carte.
It's expensive. Depending upon how many courses you want and if you want wine and dessert.......at least $200 to include tipping.Has anyone been to Ruths Chris?
ruths chris is absolutly the best!! no treally so expensive..the steaks cost but thats all.....the sides are gd priced...food is great...i recommend the sweet potato casserole, filet full size, and mayb mashed potatoes also...they are great its so good i go about twice a week
The one here in San Francisco is a morgue! It is sooooo expensive- there are many other better options
It was one of the Most wonderful meals of all! Had a steak and a cocktail,as did my husband. The bill was $128.00 Listen to me please, take him to an Out Back Resturant. The prime rib is to die for! The salads are so cold and fresh! They give you warm sweet wheat bread....Our bill is never over $50. Remember to tip your waitress 20% The service is awsome!
It is expensive, because the owner of one flew a stripper and her friends to the Indianapolis-New England game the other weekend. And of course he went along.

Texas Roadhouse is just as good, meals are a fourth as expensive and the atmosphere is a lot more fun!
200 - 300 for a couple. Share the side dishes, they're not individual servings :)
No not yet but i look forward to it.. i hear its lovely!
