Best steakhouse - Prime @ Bellagio or Luxor Steakhouse?

I'm taking my boyfriend to Vegas for his birthday in a couple weeks (he doesn't know it yet) and I'm trying to decide between a steak dinner at the Luxor Steakhouse and Prime at the Bellagio. I know some people say Ruth's Chris, but we've been there twice before and were never impressed. Any thoughts? And any insight on the price difference between the two?Best steakhouse - Prime @ Bellagio or Luxor Steakhouse?
The Prime at Bellagio! I live in Las Vegas, and Prime is wondeful!!!!! You can watch the water show while eating dinner. After you eat dinner, you should go to the atrium and look at the flowers, then walk the strip and watch all the shows! It is alll beautiful! Prime is so nice and great food!Best steakhouse - Prime @ Bellagio or Luxor Steakhouse?
FYI to anyone reading this later on. Due to time contraints, we ended up going to Craftsteak @ MGM Grand and both of our meals were EXCELLENT. My filet minon was superb as were the side dishes %26amp; wine! Fantastic service, wonderful atmosphere, and great food - what more could one want from a meal?

Agree with Brendan. Craftsteak is excellent. Also try SW at the Wynn...food there is tops at any restaurant.

NOTHING is the best at Luxor -- I mean Carrot Top is a fixture there, enough said?

Nothing's bad food-wise at Bellagio.Best steakhouse - Prime @ Bellagio or Luxor Steakhouse?
Prime has the best stake I have ever had and their mashed potatoes are like heaven. I liked Prime better than Ruths Chris and Mortons steakhouse.

Well worth every penny we spent about 140 and we had seats right in front of lake bellagio.
If you must choose between the two Prime but Charlie Palmers at the Four seasons hotel next to Mandalay bay is alot nicer, quiet %26amp; very romantic.Best steakhouse - Prime @ Bellagio or Luxor Steakhouse?
between the two prime is the best, however delmonico's at the venetian is my favorite. smith and wollensky, which is located on the strip next door to mgm is my second favorite and my third favorite is craftsteak at the mgm. i have been to all five. my fiance is a steak freak. as far as price, delmonico, prime, and smith and wollensky were all about equal in price and pretty expensive, but well worth it. craftsteak is a little cheaper, but not much and the steakhouse at the luxor is cheaper than that.
Very easy and quick answer--The Palm @ Caesar Palace. Its the place for beef and lobster tails. Its the place for Good service. No place serves better Caesar salad. No place offers a better wine selection. No place your boyfriend will enjoy more for food and drink. Just phone ahead for a reservation--will have a difficult time getting in without one.
I have tried them all and can absolutely recommend Nero's at Caesar's Palace as being the best for the quality, size, and preparation of their steaks. The consistency is never varying.

The price, astronomical, but well worth it.
Go to CraftSteak at the MGM...they have the most amazing Kobe beef. CraftSteak is owned by Tom Colicchio from the TV show Top Chef. I have always had a great experience at CraftSteak!
I have to recommend going to Emeril's Delmonico at the Venetian. Steaks are awesome. Expensive, but definitely worth the price.
