Has anyone dined at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse? What did you think?

I thought it had good meat. I thought the side dishes were astronomically priced - $9 for a baked potato was just taking advantage. We ate with relatives there (mostly kids) and the bill came out to over $600 (plus tip with no wine). It was good but I don't think it was 600 good.Has anyone dined at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse? The food is very good, but you will have to order al a carte meaning you don't get a salad or side of potato or vegetable unless you pay for each item you want. I've been to the San Diego location and it's very crowded and loud there. It was hard to carry a conversation because we couldn't hear each other - had to speak loudly. Not a romantic place if that's what you are looking for. Oh, and the waiter will present raw cuts of meat and raw vegetables to you (they roll it out to show you) as they explain the menu. Great experience, but overall very expensive.

If you are looking for a good steak restaurant check to see if there's a Morton's or Donovan's in your area. They are pricey too - but you'll get a salad, potato and veggie included with your entree price. It will cost a lot less than Ruth Chris.Has anyone dined at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse? It is a gourmet steakhouse and one of the best. All of their stuff is graded prime. Everything is al la carte so the price can build up. Note that if you want to keep the fat content down, be aware that they pour melted butter on the steaks and other dishes. Also make a note to yourself not to touch the plate that the meat comes in.Has anyone dined at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse? What did you think?
I needed a great place to go for a special occasion, RC was recommended highly by people that had been there.
